Nick is the founder and CEO of Pournader & Company. He has over 20 years of experience in the private sector and is an expert on the role of culture, values, and leadership and their impact on organizational performance. In addition, Nick has deep experience in global high-tech, financial services, retail, and professional services industries with a focus on organization and leadership, organizational agility, digital and technology transformation, strategy development, M&A, and business performance improvement.

Nick’s career started with enterprise software and technology services companies FIS Global (Fidelity Information Services) and Oracle where he envisioned, launched, and built the SaaS businesses of both companies while setting the record of becoming the youngest vice president and senior vice president in both Global 500 companies at ages 25 and 28, respectively.

In his advisory work, Nick has helped CEOs and other top executives assess organizational health and led initiatives to improve results. He also brings strong experience in strategic human resources, helping organizations understand how to create world-class talent systems and winning workforce dynamics.

Examples of his work include:

    • Developing and implementing a technology systems portfolio rationalization for one of the largest global investment banks, delivering over $350 million in performance improvements in 18 months
    • Developing an inventory and store rationalization program for a major US automotive parts and services retailer which delivered $85 million in performance improvements in 9 months and identified strategic M&A options to optimize market share and dramatically improve return on equity
    • Leading a transformational change initiative for a globally respected news organization, delivering $86 million in cost savings and $25 million reduction in balance sheet liabilities
    • Developing and implementing a robust analytics platform which enabled a large US health insurer to improve medical outcomes for their subscribers, reduce annual costs by $115 million and identified an additional $300 million of annual cost reduction opportunities from fraud and prevention of catastrophic healthcare claims
